No, this is
not a postcard. Julie, Janey, Curtis and I had a wonderful picnic at the Cove and on our walk we spotted these lovely ladies with their umbrellas. At first I thought they were umbrella hats, but they are just little umbrellas from the Dollar Tree store. Their good find turned into my favorite photo of the day. I was so excited when I spotted them I had to take a picture before talking with them.
These two lovely ladies were good enough to sport a baby sling I made in Fall of 2007. I must say you both look absolutely radiant with my sling. Oh, by the way Curtis HATES it. Apparently, he doesn't like Italian Smocking. Thanks ladies.
After our fabulous afternoon at the cove we decided to extend our fun into the late hours of the evening (8pm) with Jeremy and head over to Balboa Park for a
Movie in the Park. We watched
Bye Bye Birdie. It was something I had been meaning to do for years. I was a fun, fun, fun day. And finally a photo with me in it to prove it.
